The suspect used assets registered in the names of close relatives at various times, and her expenses exceeded her income.
Former Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and former Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Olga Stefanyshyna is suspected of illegal enrichment of over UAH 13.9 million and false declarations, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine reported .

In particular, according to the investigation, she owned two apartments in the Faina Town residential complex worth almost UAH 11 million, which were registered to a friend.
The suspect also used assets registered in the names of close relatives at various times. In particular:
- an apartment in the capital’s business-class residential complex “Lvivska Ploshcha” (registered in the mother’s name);
- a parking space and several non-residential premises in the same residential complex (registered in the name of the father);
- Mercedes-Benz GLC 220 d car (registered to a subordinate).
“The official did not declare information about this property. In addition, she was negotiating the purchase of a house near Kyiv with an estimated value of 550 thousand USD. According to the plan, 250 thousand USD were to be paid in cash, and the remaining amount was to be paid by transferring the two above-mentioned apartments in the Faina Town residential complex to the seller,” the report says.
At the same time, as the bureau informed, the government official refused this agreement. They admit that it was probably due to an appointment to a diplomatic position abroad.
The NABU emphasized that the suspect’s official income did not allow her to purchase the specified property, because in the period from the beginning of 2024 to mid-2025, she earned about UAH 3.7 million, but approximately UAH 4.2 million was spent from her bank accounts alone.
Currently, Stefanishyna has been notified of suspicion under Article 368-5 and Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

I have the feeling corruption in Ukraine is now higher as ever. And that is a high bar! Yes, its war, everyone is getting rich and is stealing around, but I dont like it.
During war, they should be incarcerated for life.
