Workers of the Makiivka metallurgical plant in the occupied territory of Donetsk oblast are on strike, demanding full payment of wage arrears. This is reported on social networks.
Let us remind you that this is not the first protest campaign at the metallurgical enterprise. The workers had already staged a strike in mid-October, having suspended the production. As a result, a schedule for the payment of wage arrears in installments was drawn up.
So, according to this schedule, the payment of 46% for July was to take place on October 20-21. The steelworkers were to receive 15-20% for August by October 25 and the entire amount for the last month of summer – by the end of October.
However, the promised repayment of debts was never followed.
As OstroV reported, the guards of the “nationalized” metallurgical plant (DMP) in occupied Donetsk went on strike because of wage arrears.
