The leaders of Britain and Germany stressed that the war in Ukraine must end.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has reacted to the missile attack by Russian occupiers on Sumy . He believes that Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin should agree to a complete ceasefire without conditions. The British leader made this statement on his page on the social network X.

“I am appalled by Russia’s appalling attacks on civilians in Sumy, and my thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones at this tragic time. President Zelensky has demonstrated his commitment to peace. Putin must now agree to a full and immediate ceasefire without conditions,” Starmer wrote.

The current German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, supported the British leader’s view. He also believes that Russia should agree to an immediate ceasefire.

“This war must end, and Russia must finally agree to a complete ceasefire. We are working on this together with our European and international partners,” Scholz wrote on his X social media page.

  2. Yes, that is just pathetic … and embarrassing to boot. I wish for once their response would be to DO SOMETHING RADICAL. Instead, we get warm gasses.
