Previously, Poland threatened to stop funding the operation of Starlink terminals in Ukraine if the company did not reconsider its decision.
Starlink has decided not to exclude Poland from the European region of its satellite communications network, former Polish Minister of Digitalization Janusz Cieszynski announced on the social network X.
“Poland is returning to the European Starlink coverage area. Sometimes, instead of writing threats in X, it’s worth contacting those who helped get Starlink up and running in 2022,” he wrote.
The current Polish Minister of Digitalization, Krzysztof Gawkowski, and the Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, also confirmed this information on the social network X.
“Thank you, Elon Musk, for recognizing that Poland is part of the European Union and its citizens cannot be discriminated against,” Sikorski wrote.
