Following the tasks set by the President of Ukraine, this night specialists from the Security Service’s of Ukraine (SSU) Alpha Special Operations Center worked on the Perm linear production and dispatching station, which is located more than 1,500 km from the border with Ukraine.
This was reported to the Ukrainian News Agency by the SSU.
The station belongs to JSC Transneft and is a strategically important hub of the russian federation’s main oil transportation system. Oil is distributed through the station in four directions, including to the Perm Refinery.
As a result of the SSU drone attack, a large-scale fire broke out at the oil pumping station. According to preliminary information, almost all oil storage tanks are on fire.
“The SSU is systematically reducing russia’s export potential and undermining its economic base, which finances the war against Ukraine. The defeat of oil logistics creates a shortage of resources for the russian military-industrial complex, disrupts fuel supply chains for the army and forces the enemy to spend significant resources on restoring and protecting the oil infrastructure,” said Acting Head of the SSU Yevhen Khmara.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the SSU struck the russian Gorky oil refinery, which ensures the operation of main oil pipelines. The Security Service of Ukraine has increased the intensity of strikes on the territory of the russian federation. At the same time, the Service’s drones are setting records for long-range operations. Ukraine continues to strike russian refineries despite warnings from the West.
