Three captured Russians met the Special Operations Forces’ physical standards—because they wanted to live.
In one operational sector, a Special Operations Forces (SOF) team approached from the rear and took the occupiers prisoner.
SOF operators covertly infiltrated enemy-held territory, located an enemy position, and conducted a raid.
After coming under intense small-arms fire and grenade attacks from the SOF operators, three russian servicemen stopped resisting and surrendered.
But the exfiltration route led through open terrain with heavy enemy drone activity.
The prisoners were given a simple choice: their only chance to survive was to run with the SOF group.
The russian soldiers chose not to die from their own drones — and made it out.
Along with three prisoners for the exchange fund, the SOF operators recovered intelligence, communications equipment, documents and enemy weapons.
