On August 14, special forces of the Security Service of Ukraine captured 102 Russian soldiers in the Kursk region .

This was reported to UNIAN by a source in the SBU. At the same time, the source emphasized that this was the most massive capture of the enemy that was carried out at one time.

It is noted that this is the result of a special operation carried out by soldiers of the TsSO “A” of the SBU. “They captured and cleared a sprawling, concreted and well-fortified company stronghold from all sides – with underground communications and personnel accommodation, a canteen, an armory and even a bathhouse. The enemy was not going to surrender, there was more than enough provisions and ammunition.” – said the source.  

At the same time, the source noted that among the 102 prisoners are servicemen of the 488th Guards Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces and the “Akhmat” unit. The source noted that this is a good addition to the exchange fund.
