Spain has sent a large batch of rapid coronavirus test kits back to the Chinese manufacturer because they proved unreliable, reports El Pais.
On March 10, Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko announced that the Ukrainian authorities bought similar rapid test kits. These test kits were to be distributed to seven hospitals for coronavirus testing.
It is noted that the first 9,000 test kits from the shipment had an accuracy of only 30% while the required accuracy is at least 80%.
At the same time, four Madrid hospitals, which have already started using these tests, found that the kits give negative results in patients diagnosed with coronavirus.
The Chinese Embassy in Spain issued a statement saying that Shenzhen Shengzhen Bioeasy Biotechnology was not licensed to sell its products and that the company was not on the “approved supplier list” that China had provided to Spain.
Shenzhen Bioeasy Biotechnology said it would replace some test kits. According to the company, the wrong results may be the result of unsuccessful sampling or misuse of kits. The company said it had not sufficiently explained to the customers how to use the kits.

Anything made in China is crap. Even my phone and tablet. I lost 3 lap tops made in China in 8 years, while my 14 years old Dell pc, made in USA, is still as good as new.
This gives the US every reason to ditch Chinese junk and start producing quality back home. The US were world leaders in producing quality goods, but since manufacturers started having their products made in China and Mexico, the quality is abysmal.
Yep. When i was young (LOL), i only bought things that had the magic label MADE IN USA. Today my pants are made in Bangladesh, honey comes from China, all e-devices come from China, my furniture comes from China and Russia… the only American-made things i have is my military gear, an Alpha flight jacked, a shirt, my Dell pc and a lighter with a confederate flag on it. All we buy, use and eat these days is mostly crap.

There’s no escape, except for communicating by smoke signals or by sending letters by pigeons. I always do that, except for commenting on Ukraine Today, for which I bought a Xiaomi phone. I like my pigeons more, but it is really decent stuff.
My pc was built in 2004, and all components were made in USA, except for the Pentium III processor which says Made in Ireland.
