Ukrainian defenders continue to monitor the situation in the Southern Bug area where on October 3 they destroyed a large amount of equipment and manpower of the enemy.
That’s according to Ukraine’s Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.
“The aviation carried out nine strikes on enemy positions and targets. Rocket and artillery units carried out 290 fire missions,” the report said.
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 87 invaders, 31 tanks, 27 other armored vehicles, an Uragan multiple launch rocket system and a transport and loading vehicle for the system, and a Sani 120 mm mortar.
In addition, Ukraine’s Armed Forces captured two tanks and an infantry fighting vehicle.
The Operational Command South added that the Russians are trying to hold the defensive lines, but they are better able to retreat to the positions they prepared earlier.

This is perhaps quite a large portion of orc forces in this area. The southern Bug river area, which is being fought over, has the Black Sea to the west and Kherson to the east.
Was curious as to what the sani 120 is.

Gah. I’d joked here the tendency of russian tank turrets being blown sky-high, as if it’s a new sport that Ukrainian soldiers have developed.
Well, some made it a sport to see who could make a turret liftoff the highest. 😉
lol. That’s what I joked about, but the spam filter didn’t get the punchline I guess. Also commented about the ridiculousness of those metal cages. By putting giant birdcages on their tanks, the Russians actually help make it easier for Ukrainians to hit them 😂🤣
They certainly are more visible!
