Russian Ambassador to Sweden Viktor Tatarintsev said that Russia “doesn’t give a shit” about Western sanctions. He expressed this opinion during an interview with the Swedish edition of Aftonbladet.
“Sorry for the language – but we shit on the sanctions of the West,” the publication quotes him as saying. This phrase is placed in the title of the material .
The interview itself was devoted to the possible entry of Sweden into NATO. Tatarintsev called the expansion of the North Atlantic Alliance the main threat to Russia, adding that Moscow now objects to the kingdom’s membership in the organization.
“If the US and NATO had not provoked and aggravated the situation, we would not have objected to Sweden joining NATO. We would respect such decision of Sweden. But now the security situation in this part of Europe has changed dramatically,” the diplomat said ( quoted by TASS ).
In January, the Swedish authorities stated that the question of the kingdom’s accession to NATO was not on the agenda.
Since the fall of 2021, Western authorities have been threatening Moscow with new sanctions, suspecting Russia of an impending attack on Ukraine. According to Western estimates, Russia has concentrated 100-125 thousand troops near the Ukrainian borders, and the invasion itself could begin on February 16. Moscow explains the movement of troops as exercises and claims that it is not going to attack anyone. Amid tensions, Russia has initiated talks with the US and NATO on security guarantees in Europe.

My guess is that London can really fuck them over. I think that London has the assets of the fuckers and that would hurt them. They don’t give a shit about the Russian common man/woman.

Yeah, the last two countries to join NATO, those military powerhouses, Montenegro and North Macedonia really tipped the scales. You know any Russian politician is lying through their teeth when they claim they would welcome a country very close to Russia, into NATO.
