The judges stress it is impossible to consider specific constitutional proceedings until the situation around the court’s work gets normal.

The judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine (CCU) who voted against the controversial decision on anti-corruption legislation have temporarily refused to participate in its work.
This was reported by the nv.ua news outlet, which cited its owns source.
The following judges have suspended their work:
- Deputy Head of the CCU Serhiy Holovaty
- judge Oleh Pervomaisky
- judge Viktor Kolisnyk
- judge Vasyl Lemak
At the beginning of a plenary session of the Constitutional Court on October 5, at which the issue of land reform was to be considered, these judges announced that their decision was connected with the public’s involvement in the court’s work, the source said, in particular by the publication of its draft decisions by the media. The judges consider it unacceptable to publish draft decisions.
The judges stress that it is impossible to consider specific constitutional proceedings until the situation around the court’s work is normalized in a legitimate way.
