Ukraine Matters

Some Incredibly good news coming from Munich 2025. Despite the stolen spotlight by US, the EU is stepping up. I mentioned in my last video that if we would want to see Ukraine succeed even without US support, EU would need to heavily increase its defense spending. I outlined the indicator that we would need to hear that the target would be over 3%. Well we had the president of the EC Ursula von der Leyen just stated that she will be putting a motion for Escape clause for EU Defense Investments. This is MASSIVE. This was done during covid times and resulted in about 700bn EUR support in fighting the Covid. To put what it means in VERY simple terms is that EU will support and subsidize the EU members to make investments into defense across the board. There are a lot more details to it that make it an INCREDIBLE way forward. So far, the rumors are that it would mean that we will see 3% as a MINIMUM target in EU defense. But we have not seen the details yet, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Beyond that, we heard a lot of countries creating internal investment programs as well. Amazingly great news.
