Some DPRK soldiers are already in Ukraine, – CNN

Their number will only grow, they believe in the West.

There are already a small number of North Korean soldiers in Ukraine . The West expects more to come as foreign troops complete their training and move toward the front lines.

Speaking to CNN, two Western intelligence officials said the presence of North Korean troops in Ukraine goes beyond the assessments of the North Atlantic Alliance and the United States Department of Defense.

A US official told reporters they could not yet confirm the information. At the same time, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller announced a meeting of US and South Korean diplomats and military officials to discuss troop deployments and expanding relations between Moscow and Pyongyang.

The publication’s sources reported that a significant portion of the deployed troops are special forces. The DPRK government considers them stronger than the Russians and also wants them to gain combat experience in a real war. Officials believe that at least some of the soldiers will desert almost immediately after arriving on the battlefield. The language barrier will also be a problem for them.
