Some companies have stopped selling weapons to Ukraine, – MP

He added that direct aid from the United States continues to arrive.

The United States of America has suspended arms sales to Ukraine. This was stated on air by People’s Deputy, Chairman of the National Defense and Intelligence Committee Roman Kostenko on the “Tema s Moseychuk” project.

“According to my information, the weapons (from the US – ed.), which were going to be sold (to Ukraine – ed.) – deliveries have stopped. Those companies that were supposed to transfer these weapons here – they are now waiting, because there is no decision,” the MP said.

The reasons for the stoppage are still unknown.

“And everyone is waiting to see if there will be a decision to supply weapons here, at least for money,” he added.

He clarified that some companies involved in selling weapons to Ukraine are waiting for political decisions from various parties.

“There is information, including from me as the secretary of the defense committee, that companies that directly sell weapons in Ukraine – this is not about material and technical assistance, are now waiting to see how all these meetings (Ukraine and the US – ed.) will end. They are waiting for political decisions in order not to have any problems due to the supply of weapons to Ukraine,” Kostenko explained, adding:

“There is a weapons stoppage now. But these are weapons from companies that are waiting for a decision and what will happen in the political field.”
