Kremlin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov called on Russia to launch a nuclear strike against Elon Musk’s satellites in space, Newsweek reports .
These calls come amid reports that Musk’s SpaceX has begun to counter Russia’s use of Shahids on Starlink.
“I don’t understand why, for example, Elon Musk’s satellites are not a legitimate target for us… One nuclear weapon explosion in space, as far as I understand, solves this problem,” he said.
Solovyov added that Russia would also lose its own satellites as a result of a nuclear strike, and then somewhat sarcastically remarked that this was not a big deal, saying that “we are still far behind” the United States.
