On Sunday, June 8, during a volunteer mission in the Sumy region, the soloist of the Odessa National Opera, a world-class tenor, and Honored Artist of Ukraine – Vladyslav Gorai, died.

The tragic news was announced on Facebook by  the Odessa National Opera, Censor.NET reports.

“The whole world knew Vladislav Vikentiyovych’s voice, but his heart belonged to Ukraine. Vladislav was not only a talent on stage – he was an example of strength, dignity and kindness in life. Even in the darkest times, he did not stay aside – he helped, volunteered, and supported. The Odesa National Opera was orphaned,” the message said.

Details about the place and time of the farewell will be announced later.
