Russia Goodbye! In August 2024, eight international companies completed the process of withdrawing from the Russian market by selling or liquidating their operations, according to an analysis by the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE).

This brings the number of businesses that have fully left Russia since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to 423, while more than 2,000 are still operating as usual in Russia, thus contributing to its wartime economy.

The list of the most recent companies leaving Russia includes the US credit card giant American Express, the Swedish watch brand Daniel Wellington, the Austrian toll company Kapsch Group, the US chemical company Momentive, the Dutch information services company Wolters Kluwer, the Canadian global network of schools Brookes Education Group, the Luxembourgish printing ink maker Flint Group, and the German fashion brand HUGO BOSS. Kudos for doing what’s right!

KSE also downgraded the statuses of two companies: SPAR International, which opened new stores in Moscow in August 2024 and continues operating in Russia, and State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), with its key entity, LLC “SOCAR RUS,” conducting regular business. At the end of August 2024, Russia’s Gazprom and Azerbaijan’s SOCAR agreed to expand gas cooperation and strategic partnership. SOCAR’s public procurement clients include the Russian Guard and military units.

B4Ukraine urges global businesses to leave the market of the aggressor state, thereby refusing to fund its violence, murders, and crimes against humanity.

………….

Now let’s look at the genocide sponsors still operating in the cauldron of devilry:

Stop Doing
Business with Russia

Russia initiated aggression against Ukraine in 2014. On February 24, 2022, it started a full-scale military invasion to the Ukrainian territory. This brutal war and military crimes of Russian troops caused a humanitarian crisis in Ukraine with thousands civilians killed and millions becoming refuges. As a reaction to this act of aggression, many international companies decided to leave the Russian market, while some others continue doing business there as usual. We track such decisions of companies and urge them to stop funding the war.

  1. For many CEO’s of companies still in mafia land, money doesn’t stink, not even if it’s drenched in human blood. Maybe the blood makes it smell even better for them.

  2. One of the world’s top fmcg multinationals; Unilever, has now at last left. Its chief competitor; P&G, remains. It would be nice if politicians with principles in the US would push for a coordinated boycott. A company of such high standing and distinguished history should not still be sponsoring the child-murdering nazis of RuZia.
And if they object to the term nazi being applied, then they are part of the problem.
