The attacks on the Slavyansk oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation on the night of September 3 and 4 completely stopped its operations. 
Fires broke out on the territory; equipment was damaged.

This was reported by RosZMI, which writes about the fuel and energy complex of the Russian Federation. “All installations of the plant have been stopped. The work of the enterprise has been suspended for an indefinite period,” the article says.

It is unknown when the enterprise will resume operations, as neither the company nor the local authorities have released official information about the strikes at the refinery.

Roman Sinyagorsky, the head of the Slavyansky district of the Krasnodar region, confirmed that the city was under massive attack on Wednesday and Thursday. As of the morning of September 4, the Russian official stated that the effects of shelling had been recorded at 17 addresses. There were no injured residents.

Other agencies reported some damage but kept quiet about the arrivals at the refinery.

According to Russian media, a hybrid attack using both UAVs and missiles was carried out in Slavyansk-on-Kuban.

What is known about the Slavyansky Refinery

This is a large independent oil refinery located in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban. Main characteristics:

  • raw material capacity – 6 million tons/year;
  • product range – stable gas gasoline, hydrocarbon fractions, vacuum gas oils and their distillates, technical kerosene (export), AI-92-K5 and AI-95-K5 gasolines (semi-finished product and complete set), bunkering fuel, selective purification fuel component, road bitumen;
  • Sales of manufactured products are mainly for export (over 90%).

We should add that on the night of September 3, air raid sirens in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation were heard in Anapa, Novorossiysk, and near Gelendzhik .

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the Rostov Oblast of Russia was also under attack on September 4. Previously, radar stations in the area of ​​the cities of Shakhty and Volgodonsk were damaged.
