The Ukrainian airline SkyUp managed to negotiate with the insurers of the aircraft it operates, so the aircraft remain in Ukraine.
The airline has reopened ticket sales for all flights.

“We are pleased to inform passengers that ticket sales are reopened for all dates, and SkyUp remains in full in the Ukrainian sky,” said Dmitry Seroukhov, CEO of SkyUp Airlines. — Negotiations with insurers were difficult, and foreign partners continue to regularly assess their own risks and monitor the situation. However, now, through joint efforts with the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the government, we have managed to achieve results – flights in Ukraine remain safe and secure. This is an excellent example of effective cooperation between business and the state, but the main thing is a guarantee to all passengers that they can safely plan their trip.”
As a reminder, yesterday, on February 13, one SkyUp flight, at the request of the lessor, landed in Chisinau instead of Boryspil.
Also yesterday, the Cabinet of Ministers allocated 16.6 billion hryvnia for guarantees to air carriers in the event of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

Isn’t this insane? I mean i hope everything will stay peaceful, but did you all forget MH-17? This is irresponsible, to say the least!
Zelensky needs to call for a no-fly zone over Ukraine. Then hopefully the UK/US and allies can pull it off until Putler pulls back his war machine.
