Electronic warfare systems will be redirected to frontline regions to protect the population from attacks by Russian drones.

This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal,  Censor.NET reports .

He held a government meeting in the Kherson region.

“It is very important to protect the population from constant drone attacks. We listened to the head of the Kherson OVA regarding the implementation of the Government’s instructions. The work is being carried out actively. We are paying special attention to key areas,” Shmyhal noted.

According to the head of government, the Ministry of Defense and regional military administrations have been instructed to coordinate with the military for the prompt redistribution of electronic warfare (EW) assets to the most vulnerable regions.

Shmyhal also stressed the importance of the safety of evacuation routes.

“Critical infrastructure and energy. No details. We are increasing the supply of equipment to ensure stable energy supply. The necessary tasks have been set before the responsible ministries,” he added.
