The old fog covers the black cliffs,Where the cold of time rustles like steel.There the shadows walk, tormenting with a foreign pain,And the clot of night drips dimly into the distance.

But the spirit’s cry will not crack in steel,And the ray of truth burns in the darkness.Though the storm again breaks the calm of the day —It teaches the night to be silent and tremble.
