The night of June 24th was once again a noisy and explosive one for occupied Crimea. There were reports of attacks on energy facilities in Simferopol and Sevastopol, causing the latter of the two cities to go into a complete blackout.
In addition, it landed in a military town near Kerch and in the area of the “Gvardiyske” airfield, from where the occupiers launch “Shaheeds” across Ukraine. The results of the hits were reported by the Telegram channels “Krymsky veter” and Exilenova+.
Blackout in Sevastopol
At around 4 a.m., Crimean Wind reported problems with electricity in temporarily occupied Sevastopol. At that time, almost the entire city was without power.
According to the channel, the cause of the blackout was three hits on the 330/220/110/35 kV Sevastopol electrical substation, which “powers the entire Sevastopol energy district and is the main nodal facility” in the area.
Some subscribers to the channel reported not three, but “6-7 hits” around 4 a.m.
After the hits, a massive fire broke out at the substation, and a column of black smoke rose into the sky.
The power outage in Sevastopol was confirmed by the city’s Gauleiter, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
“As a result of the enemy’s attack on our energy infrastructure, the city was temporarily left without electricity. The enemy is once again striking vicious blows, trying to deprive us of our usual living conditions and sow panic. A special regime has been introduced at the facilities, experts are assessing the extent of the damage and doing everything possible to restore electricity supply. All emergency services are on full alert,” a representative of the occupation authorities said.
Simferopol TPP hit again
Almost simultaneously with Sevastopol, the capital of the occupied peninsula, Simferopol, also met Ukrainian drones.
“Occupied Simferopol is under massive attack by shock troops, explosions are heard in the city,” wrote the Telegram channel Exilenova+ at 03:46.

Other consequences of the night attack on Crimea
“Crimean Wind” also reported that satellites are recording a fire on the territory of a military town south of Kerch.
“Two fire centers, cause of fires unknown,” the report says.
Residents of Kerch reported hearing explosions at 02:08, 02:23, 03:34, and 03:36 a.m.
In addition, a fire broke out near the village of Shafranne, located west of the Gvardiyske military airfield.
“This place is known as one of the launch points for Shahed/Geranium-type UAVs, ” Crimean Wind notes.
And in the Bakhchisaray area, according to the channel, after the arrival, the warehouses of the 133rd separate logistics brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet (military unit 73998) in the area of Chekhova/Simferopolska streets are burning.
“The brigade is responsible for logistics, the supply of food, fuel and ammunition, as well as the repair of equipment of the Russian Black Sea Fleet units,” the report says.
As OBOZ.UA reported, the day before it became known that during the night of June 23, the “Birds of the Magyar” destroyed more than 60 targets in Crimea. In particular, in Kerch, they managed to hit three enemy reconnaissance and strike UAVs “Orion”, the radar station “Nebo-U” and oil tanks at the Kamysh-Burunskaya CHPP.
In the village of Bagerove, the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft gun complex was hit, and in the village of Kurortne, the launcher of the S-300 heavy air defense system and the ZU-23-3 anti-aircraft gun were hit.
At the same time, in the village of Kar’erne, the “Zahidno-Krymska” electrical substation was hit, and in the village of Trudove, the “Simferopol” gas distribution station was hit.
The occupiers also saw and felt the accurate work of the SBS pilots in the occupied territories of mainland Ukraine.
