Sending soldiers from DPRK to war in Ukraine: Pentagon makes statement

Austin said he could not yet confirm the reports.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has commented on the possibility of North Korea sending its troops to Russia for the war in Ukraine . As reported by Reuters , he said that he “cannot yet confirm these reports.”

At the same time, he noted that such a move would be “worrisome if it turns out to be true.”

Earlier, South Korean intelligence said that North Korea had sent 1,500 special forces to Russia’s Far East for training and acclimatization at local military bases and that they would likely be deployed to fight in the war in Ukraine.

Both Russia and North Korea deny these claims.

    • I’m afraid that this glib statement :

“such a move would be “worrisome if it turns out to be true” renders him unfit for purpose.

Hopefully Harris will win and put a hardass into the job; like Ben Hodges. He’s a former Republican who left because of Trumpkov, so he’d be ideal. He’s in more robust health than Austin too.
