Senator Blumenthal: Russia is hunting US companies in Ukraine.

 February 16, 2026

Democratic U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal said Russia has launched a “hunt” for U.S. companies in Ukraine.

He said this during a press conference in Kyiv, writes a correspondent for European Pravda.

Blumenthal said that during his visit to Kyiv, he learned about targeted Russian attacks on American businesses in Ukraine.

“A ‘hunt’ for American companies has been launched in Ukraine. Vladimir Putin is deliberately targeting American factories and headquarters in Ukraine with missiles and drones,” he emphasized.

At the same time, the American senator cautioned against doubts about whether the United States will continue to do business in Ukraine.

“Make no mistake: America will continue to do business in Ukraine. We will be as resilient as the Ukrainian people. But Americans must understand that companies here – including well-known American business brands – have been the targets of deliberate, repeated, and relentless attacks by Russia. And such actions should provoke even greater outrage than we are seeing now,” he added.

It’s worth noting that on August 21, Russia struck Transcarpathia—the first time the region suffered significant destruction during a full-scale war. Two Kalibr missiles destroyed the American Flex electronics manufacturing plant near Mukachevo.

Let us also recall that on January 8, the US Embassy in Ukraine reported a “potentially significant” air attack in the coming days – that same night, Russia launched an airstrike on regions of Ukraine and launched an Oreshnik ballistic missile at Lviv.

  1. “But Americans must understand that companies here – including well-known American business brands – have been the targets of deliberate, repeated, and relentless attacks by Russia. And such actions should provoke even greater outrage than we are seeing now,”

I see or hear nothing resembling an outrage from the Taco administration. Like always, the russian organized crime syndicate can do whatever it wants, there are never any consequences to fear from their criminal ally in the White House.

    • Zelensky is the problem, not the solution. Would ruSSia demand from Petro or Yulia what they ask from Jewlensky? Before this clown showed up, Ukraine was strong. Sorry for alleged anti-semitic strains. Just seeing things with my eyes instead of my ass.

      • I still don’t understand where the hate for Zelensky is coming from.
The mafia cockroaches would do the same with Petro or Julia. The only person they would be different with a russian ass licker.

          • Yeah – he prevented them from winning, by beating them both handily.

In the first round of voting:
Volodymyr Zelenskyy received 30.61% of the vote.
Petro Poroshenko received 16.15% of the vote.
Yulia Tymoshenko received 13.56% of the vote.

So, President Zelenskyy received more votes than Petro and Yulia *combined*. It seems that a lot of Ukrainians *did* want him.

            “Sorry for alleged anti-semitic strains.”

If you were really sorry, you wouldn’t keep doing it.

Ethnically, he’s a Soviet Jew, but he’s non-observant, so his religion has nothing to do with his actions.

            • Well, he was supported by Kolomoisky, who controlled most of the Ukrainian media back then. It was manipulation by the media which constantly portrayed Yulia and Petro as corrupt oligarchs, to pave the way for Zelensky, a politically unexperienced comedian who did not even serve in the Armed Forces.

              • “who did not even serve in the Armed Forces.”

                Well, neither did Yulia…

And as you pointed out previously, it was President Viktor Yanukovych who imprisoned Yulia.
