He suggested that if Germany’s reaction had been different, the current attack on Ukraine might have been avoided.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz admitted that his country’s response to the illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014 should have been different.
Scholz stated this during a conference of the Bundeswehr, Bild reports .
“I want to say quite unequivocally that, perhaps, at least in retrospect, it would be quite right to react tougher to the annexation of Crimea,” he said.
According to him, in this case, the idea of such an attack on Ukraine, perhaps, “would not have captured the thoughts of President Vladimir Putin so much.
Recall that the international community imposed sanctions against Russia after the annexation of Crimea in 2014. At the same time, Germany has not stopped economic and diplomatic relations with Moscow since then.
As UNIAN reported earlier, former President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma believes that “the occupation of Crimea took place because Ukraine did not defend itself,” and the war in Donbass began because Ukraine finally began to respond to the occupier, went over to resistance.

Germany response to Crimea? Really?? You stupid idiotic mitherf**ker!!! Your country’s entire response is pathetic you POS!!!
And now they admit they STILL haven’t learned their lesson. I am surprised the German people are not insisting their leaders actually represent them and support Ukraine against these barbaric war crimes. This didn’t happen overnight and they could have been prepared years ago.
Red, the kraut people allowed themselves to be virtually buried with Africans and Arabs in 2015, despite massive problems and until-to-this-day unknown high costs in money and crimes, yet voted Merkel’s party back into office again in the following elections. Doesn’t this say it all?
To me the Germans seem pretty politically complacent and disconnected. But I get that feeling often with the parliamentary systems. When you get to the point you feel its ok for the government to think for you, you’re in trouble.
That’s it in a nutshell. The majority of krauts have never really been capable of thinking for themselves, politically speaking.
“He suggested that if Germany’s reaction had been different, the current attack on Ukraine might have been avoided.”
So, what excuse does Germany have NOW for its slow and weak response to this bigger, more massive crime that mafia land is currently committing? This is pure hypocrisy! Or, does Germany have only broken down junk, like the PH 2000s, and doesn’t want to get more embarrassed?
BTW, it wasn’t only Germany that responded meekly and insufficiently. The West in general had no spine, no foresight, no idea, and no gumption. Funny how we on here strongly suspected that this wouldn’t end well, back then already.
