On the night of July 19, Ukrainian soldiers struck three oil depots in the Stavropol Territory of the Russian Federation. The strikes were carried out by fighters of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Their comrades from the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked another fuel facility in the same Russian region, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced.
The Russian oil industry again found itself under “long-range sanctions” from Ukraine overnight
The Head of State reported that during the night, the defenders of Ukraine continued to strike at the oil infrastructure of the aggressor state. This time, facilities in the Stavropol Territory of the Russian Federation were in the zone of close attention.
“We continue to respond quite fairly and accurately to Russian strikes. Today, Ukrainian long-range sanctions have reached specific facilities that provide and finance Russian aggression. SBU units immediately struck three oil depots in the Stavropol region,” Zelenskyy noted.
Another Russian fuel facility in the same region was effectively attacked by units of the Armed Forces.
Zelensky also added that accurate hits on three Russian tankers of the shadow fleet were recorded in the Black Sea.
“Thank you to each of our units, which ensures the expansion of the feeling in Russia that this war must be ended. Glory to Ukraine!” – summed up the President of Ukraine.
This morning, OBOZ.UA reported on the destruction by the Ukrainian Defense Forces of at least one oil depot in the Stavropol Territory of the Russian Federation – “Mykhailivskaya”. It is located near the city of Mykhailivskyi.
The independent Russian publication ASTRA later claimed that the fires could have broken out at three oil depots in the region: two in the village of Vyazniki (one owned by the Russian giant Rosneft, the other by either Korona LLC or NK-Nefteprodukt LLC), and the third affected facility was the Stavropol oil depot of LUKOIL-Yugnefteprodukt LLC in the regional capital. The latter has 42 tanks with a total volume of about 57.6 cubic meters, and it provides reception, storage and release of motor gasoline, diesel fuel and lubricants.
After the attack, local authorities introduced a local state of emergency due to fires in the industrial zone of the Vyazniki farm.
