This is the second time a Russian helicopter has been shot down by a drone.
Another Russian helicopter was hit in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation using an FPV drone of the Security Service of Ukraine. This was reported to a UNIAN correspondent by an informed source.

The SBU’s successful “hunt” for Russian helicopters continues.
“The Divine Service has worked on another target with the help of an FPV drone in the “Kursk People’s Republic”. The video shows how the drone of the Central Security Service “A” hits a helicopter during its flight,” the source noted.
The source also added that the destruction of enemy helicopters by drones is a unique special operation in the history of wars.
It is worth noting that this time the Mi-8 was hit in the tail section by a drone with a powerful fragmentation warhead.

SBU FPV drone hits another Russian helicopter
As UNIAN reported, Ukrainian special services have recently shot down a Mi-28 helicopter over the Kursk region thanks to an FPV drone. The helicopter was hit on August 6. The SBU drone hit the enemy machine’s rear propeller.
“The SBU has once again demonstrated a high professional level, a creative approach and the novelty of solutions that are used to destroy the enemy. We still have many unexpected surprises for the Russians,” it was noted at the time.
