Russian Nazis deliberately commit all atrocities and sincerely believe that we are the same nonhumans as they are. Therefore, the occupiers who fall into Ukrainian captivity experience a “break in the pattern”.
The SBU published a video of the confession of the captured lieutenant, who was waiting for “something incredible to be done to him: his ears would be cut off, his fingers would be cut off.”
The humane attitude of Ukrainians towards prisoners is not his only insight. The occupier did not see here either oppression of the Russian language, or cruel treatment of ethnic Russians.
Addressing Russian “safari lovers”, he recommends that they stay at home, even if it threatens them with prison.
“Get together, form a group and try together to fight back against these people who are forcing you to come here,” the man in the video says.
