Russian equipment was destroyed during an attempt to storm the border.

Today, May 10, fighters of the “Omega” special purpose center of the National Guard destroyed Russian equipment during an attempt to attack the Kharkiv region .

This was reported by the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine in its official Telegram channel . In particular, the special forces of the 2nd detachment of the “Omega” CSP showed footage of the destroyed equipment of the Russian Federation during the breakthrough attempt in the Kharkiv region.

It is noted that four BMP and “Ural” were destroyed. Thanks to the skillful actions of aerial scouts and the use of drones, it was destroyed on the approach – during an attempt to storm the border.

“Special agents of the National Guard are also looking for equipment that could have slipped through. In the same way, the remnants of the enemy’s infantry, which may be hiding on the landings, will be destroyed,” the message also states.

The offensive of the Russian Federation in the Kharkiv region: the latest news

As you know, the Russians intensified their actions in the Kharkiv region. The Ministry of Defense reported that in the morning Russian forces tried to break through the defense line, battles of varying intensity are ongoing.  

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, emphasized that the Defense Forces  stopped a new wave of  the Russian counteroffensive with artillery fire.

In the afternoon, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, said that the border communities are under increased shelling , and there are wounded and dead. People are urged to evacuate.
