Summarizing another week of Russia’s war against Ukraine. Ukrainian forces are increasingly demonstrating: distance is no longer protection for the Russian war machine. Strikes on deep Russian rear areas occur almost daily — targeting oil depots, energy facilities, logistics, and drone production plants.
Ukraine’s Security Service reports the destruction or disablement of Russian air defense systems and radars worth about $4 billion over the year. This includes S-300, S-400, Buk, Pantsir, Tor complexes, and key radar systems, without which Russian defenses lose their “sight.” This opens gaps in Russia’s air shield and allows Ukrainian drones to operate deeper.
