On 25 April, the Russians attempted to target Kryvyi Rih with Su-57 fighter jet, the aircraft they are desperately trying to hide from Ukrainian air defence systems.

Details: The Russians launched a Kh-59 or Kh-69 missile. As Yevlash says, these missiles are difficult to discern in the air due to their comparable tactical and technical qualities. Only when they are in the hands of experts can they be accurately classified and evaluated.
Russia’s cutting-edge Su-57s were introduced in 2020, with the maiden flight taking place in 2010. As of 2023, there are about three dozen of them in service, with dozens more ordered. One Su-57s costs about US$35 million.

I thought this was supposed to be a stealth bomber. It appears the orcs are not so confident in the stealth abilities of this plane, otherwise it would be flying closer to targets.
Not sure. They are probably afraid of a lucky punch by Ukraine’s air defense because a downed plane would be inspected by the US instantly. For that reason no F-35s were sent to Ukraine, not so much because of the ruSSians, but because a downed plane would go straight to China.
Whatever hi tech these planes have were stolen from the United States. They even look like our planes. It’s actually SOP by the ruskies with a lot of their aviation.
The only thing they forgot to copy was the stealth bit. 😂
They thought making the plane look like an F-22/F-35 is good enough.
Being so careful with a certain weapon system mostly means not being very confident in its capabilities. An already classic example in this regard is their junky T-14 tank.
