
On the morning of May 3, russian forces launched an attack near a gas station in the Dnipropetrovsk Region. A bus carrying 40 children was damaged. Six people were injured, including a pregnant woman and a 10-year-old boy.
The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, has reported this.
The enemy struck near a gas station in the Krynychky community. As a result of the attack, a truck caught fire, and a bus carrying about 40 children was damaged.
It is noted that the children managed to leave the vehicle at the time of the attack. After the strike, they were evacuated to a safe location, where psychologists are working with them.
A 10-year-old boy was wounded in the shelling and hospitalized in moderate condition. In addition, five adults were hospitalized: among them is a 21-year-old pregnant woman, and a 40-year-old woman in serious condition. Doctors assess the condition of the others as moderate.
Rescuers specified that a truck carrying food caught fire during the attack. Emergency responders quickly extinguished the fire.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, also on the morning of May 3, a russian drone attacked a service vehicle in the Dniprovskyi District of Kherson, killing one man and injuring four others.
Meanwhile, two vessels belonging to russia’s “shadow” oil fleet were struck in the waters approaching the port of Novorossiysk. The operation was carried out by the Ukrainian Defense Forces in conjunction with the Security Service of Ukraine.
