Russians sent their soldiers exchanged from captivity in suicide attacks to punish them for surrendering

10/22/2024 – Translated from Ukrainian via Google and OFP

An interesting incident happened in the Pokrovsk region. A detachment of Russian attack aircraft launched a full-scale attack on the Ukrainian stronghold over open terrain, and the soldiers of the 110th mechanized brigade destroyed all the attack aircraft as if in a shooting range.

When they collected the documents of those killed, our scouts were surprised – after all, these Russians were already prisoners of the 110th mechanized brigade and went to Russia for exchange!

Mikhail Vladimirovich Surikov, born in 1974, from Tatarstan, was captured by soldiers of the 110th brigade near Avdiivka on November 18, 2023.

Tyumin Oleksandr Nikolaevich, born in 1976, from Noginsk, Moscow Region, was also captured near Avdiivka on October 16, 2023.

Judging by the personal papers of Surikov and Tyumin, most likely, the whole group consisted of fighters exchanged from captivity. Other liquidated persons did not have personal documents and papers.

Judging by personal papers, Surikov and Tyumin served in the 114th motorized rifle brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, after being captured, they were in a Ukrainian colony for about 8 months, then returned to Russia, were in a filtration camp for several months, and then were again sent to undergo service back to the 114th brigade, and there they were immediately sent to the assault squad as “punishers”. The entire detachment of former prisoners was sent to attack on a completely open field, and none of the Russians returned from this attack.

Obviously, the Russian command does not trust its soldiers who raised their hands and sends them to attack so that they are guaranteed not to return, there is no one to stand up for them in the Russian Federation. Putin leads to the last Russian.

  1. This sort of thing is right out of Josef Stalin’s playbook.
Now you know why ruskie POWs never look happy when they are being sent back to mafia land. They know that things will be quite tough for them.
I can understand them wanting to return home, instead of asking for asylum in Ukraine. That’s where the family and friends are. But, they should know that going home means being mistreated until you die.
