Russians, as before, believe that relations between Russia and the U.S. are the most strained (67%), while the share of those who consider the relations with Ukraine as most tense (53%) has increased.

Moreover, the United Kingdom was mentioned among the TOP 3 most hostile countries.

At the same time, 45% of Russians name China as their best friend, which is followed by Belarus (30%) and Kazakhstan (21%). However, the share of those who support Syria has dropped to 13%. The shares of respondents who consider relations with France and Germany as “friendly” has grown to 10% and 9%, respectively.

As UNIAN reported earlier, a joint study by Kyiv International Institute of Sociology and Russian NGO Levada Center showed that more than 50% of Ukrainians retain a positive attitude toward Russia.
