The Russians are transferring all reserves to the south of Ukraine, it is possible to carry out assault operations .

Rostyslav Smirnov, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the information telethon .

“They are transferring almost all their reserves, all the troops they have, to the south of the country. We know that the enemy even transferred the “famous” 35th army, which was in the Kyiv region. We know it very well from Bucha, from other cities Kyiv region. The enemy is now pulling together absolutely all the reserves, even those that were waiting for a command,” Smirnov said.

According to him, after resupplying the enemy, obviously, can start assault operations.

“And when the enemy completes all the battalion-tactical groups, of course, he will, among other things, not just sit around waiting, but also conduct certain assault positions,” he added.

Recall that Russian invaders broke into Ukrainian territory without declaring war early in the morning on February 24. The enemies managed to take control, in particular, part of the Luhansk region.

The defenders of Ukraine gave a worthy rebuff to the enemy. As  of August 2, about 41,170 enemies have been eliminated on our soil .

  1. Something niggles me about this whole scenario in the South. Ukraine have been saying for weeks thay will counterattack in the Kherson region, but why publicize to the enemy what you are going to do. Now the orcs are trying to strengthen their forces in the South, although they will be hampered by the bridges being destroyed.

Is it a bluff by Ukraine to threaten an offensive in the South, so the orcs will severly weaken the Donbas, giving Ukraine the chance to retake it? I just don’t understand why Ukraine are telling the orcs what their plans are.

      • They shouldn’t even have said anything about an offensive in Kherson, why give the orcs a chance to strengthen their positions?

        • The Russians are not that stupid. They can see where the Ukrainian troops are with satellites and what bridges are being blown up.

It feels weird to me they announce this, but I don’t think they are giving too much away.

I think the main reason is to create hope among Ukrainians, as a common goal and a realistic achievable victory can be a boost for morale.

Also for Western support it is important so the West knows what they need for a counteroffensive.

          • I agree. Although, the Western governments (those who count for anything) are getting briefed continuously about what Ukraine wants to do. There is no need to do so publicly.

    • As I understand it, it is important to coordinate and communicate with the trapped citizens and the partisans there. Obviously we can’t just bomb the shit out of the place, we will need the Partisans to point out locations and nibble away at the occupation. So, the announcements aren’t so much for the occupiers but for the hostages.

  2. Putin is like Hitler. he violates military principles then raves when it doesn’t work. You don’t shove reserves into a place for an offensive. That invites destruction of your reserves and the end of your entire operation. Given the destruction of the bridges, he won’t be able to supply his troops on the right bank of the Dnieper.

But, recall Napoleon’s dictum of “never stop the enemy when he is making a mistake.”

  3. Come to the slaughter you demons of putler. May the ground burn under their feet, and may they devour each other in panic.

  4. I have this strange, warm, fuzzy feeling that the orcs are doing exactly what Ukraine wants them to do. Of course, I could be wrong about this, but when did the orcs do anything right or smart? Exactly; never!

    • You’re right and they’ve been quite predictable during their war on Ukraine. It reminds me of the Berkut at Maidan, they used the same tactics the whole time by beating people’s heads. As a former fighter I’m telling you they wouldn’t have lasted 10 seconds with someone trained.
