The Russians have acknowledged that the land corridor to Crimea is officially under Ukrainian fire control. Crimea is now turning into a “logistics island” for the Russians.
The newly built highway from the territory of the Russian Federation to Dzhankoy was closed by “governor” Saldo with his written order. “They are reporting dozens of petrol tankers and trucks burned by Ukrainian drones.”
The restriction does not apply to military cargo, special cargo, certain socially significant food products of primary necessity, etc.
Let me remind you that the main potential gain for Moscow today in the course of the bloody and protracted war in 2022-2026 could be the creation of a land corridor to Crimea.
Now it is clear that this is an ephemeral achievement, the reality is that blue-and-yellow drones are already above the corridor, civilians are prohibited from entering. Crimea is becoming an overseas territory for the Russian Federation.
