Fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine keep under fire control two pontoon crossings of the Russians across the Inhulets River, which the occupiers built recently.

It is reported by RBC-Ukraine with a reference to the statement of the Kherson Regional Council Deputy Serhiy Khlan during a briefing.

“Those two alternative crossings that were built by the Russians are crossings in the Daryivka area, in the area of the Inhulets River. This river divides the right bank of the Kherson region into two parts: one is just this northern direction, Beryslav, where counter-offensive actions are taking place now, the second part of the right bank is Kherson itself and the Mykolaiv line, ”said Khlan.

According to him, with the help of these crossings in the area of the village of Daryivka, the Russians can transfer equipment that they are trying to transport through Nova Kakhovka and the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, strengthening the defense of the Mykolaiv direction, or vice versa – strengthening the Beryslav line.

The deputy also noted that the Russians had already built temporary crossings through the gateway of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station and near Nova Kakhovka.

“But no matter how the invaders try to equip these alternative crossings, they are still under the steady fire control of our Armed Forces of Ukraine, and at the time of the transfer of weapons, as always, the enemy receives greetings from our artillery,” Khlan emphasized.
