The enemy was hit with Zircons, Iskanders, and Onyxes

On the night of July 19, starting at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, the Russians launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine using 126 strike UAVs and 41 air- and ground-based missiles of various types. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The main direction of the strike was Kyiv.

In total, as noted, the Air Force radio-technical troops recorded 166 air attack vehicles: 

• 10 3M22 Zircon anti-ship missiles (launch areas – Kursk Oblast, Russian Federation);
• 25 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles (launch areas – Bryansk, Kursk regions of the Russian Federation);
• 3 Onyx anti-ship missiles (launch areas – occupied Crimea);
• 3 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles (launch areas – airspace over the Black Sea);

125 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types, simulator drones of the Parody type, loitering munitions of the Banderol type (from the directions: Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, RF, Gvardiyske in Crimea).

“The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine,” the report says.

The Air Force said that, according to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defense had shot down/suppressed 126 targets: 18 missiles and 108 drones of various types, including:

• 17 “Iskander-M/Zirkon/S-400” missiles;
• 1 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missile;
• 108 enemy UAVs of various types.

According to preliminary information, as of 08:30, 23 missiles and 10 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 20 locations, as well as the fall of downed (fragments) UAVs at 18 locations.

Strike on Ukraine on July 19

As UNIAN previously reported, as a result of the Russian strike on Kyiv, there were hits and fires in 5 districts . One person died, 13 were injured. In the morning, rescuers continued work at several locations in the Solomyanskyi, Desnyanskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the capital.

The Russian Federation also massively attacked the Kyiv region . Several fires broke out in the Buchansky district, including in warehouses and a logistics facility. Two people were injured.
