Russians hit children in Sumy with a missile, there are 7 wounded and 3 dead, – OVA

Previously, the enemy struck civilian infrastructure with a ballistic missile.

Russian occupiers have struck a suburb of the city of Sumy . A child was killed and several others were injured as a result of the shelling, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported .

It is noted that the Russians attacked the outskirts of Sumy at around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Previously, the strike on civilian infrastructure was carried out by a ballistic missile.

“A child died as a result of an enemy missile strike on the outskirts of Sumy. Six people were injured. Most of the injured are children. One child is in extremely serious condition,” the OVA reported.

Sumy region under Russian terror

As UNIAN reported, on April 13, Russia launched a strike on the city center of Sumy . The missile attack killed 35 people. Oleh Strilka, a spokesman for the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Sumy region, said that the strike was carried out by two missiles with an interval of 2-3 minutes.

“10 cars were burning at once, including municipal transport, and it was in municipal transport that the most deaths occurred,” he said.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to Russia’s horrific ballistic missile strike on the city of Sumy on the morning of April 13. He emphasized that Russia is dragging out the war:

“A tough reaction from the world is needed. The United States, Europe, everyone in the world who wants an end to this war and killings. Russia wants exactly this kind of terror and is dragging out this war. Without pressure on the aggressor, peace is impossible. Talks have never stopped ballistic missiles and aerial bombs. We need the kind of attitude towards Russia that a terrorist deserves.”
