This morning, the Russians struck Chernihiv, killing a woman and her 4-year-old child, the State Emergency Service reported .

It is noted that a fire broke out as a result of a hit on a residential building.

“A 14-year-old girl was injured. While extinguishing the fire, rescuers discovered the bodies of a woman and a little girl,” the report said.

A nearby store also caught fire – all fires have been extinguished.

The State Emergency Service also reported that yesterday, August 25, in the evening, fires broke out in three outbuildings in the city as a result of the attack. It is preliminary known that two children were injured.
