On the morning of August 4, the Russian occupation army struck Odessa – a high-rise building was hit, there were dead and wounded.

As an UNIAN correspondent reports, very powerful explosions were heard in Odessa early in the morning . Monitoring channels reported that the enemy launched “Banderoli” and KABs – the regional center and suburbs are under attack.

Later, the head of the Odessa MVA, Serhiy Lysak, confirmed the attack.

“The morning in Odessa began with an enemy attack. At this moment, three victims are known. They are being provided with the necessary assistance. In one of the districts of the city, residential buildings and cars were damaged,” he said.

He soon added that the deceased person was already known.

All relevant services are working on the scene, the area is being surveyed and the consequences are being recorded, the official added. An operational headquarters has been deployed to help people.

Eyewitnesses are reporting on social media that a residential high-rise building was damaged, glass was broken in many buildings, etc.

Update 8:30. As specified by the head of the OVA Oleg Kiper, the enemy massively attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Odessa region. As a result, one person was killed, at least five were injured, including a child. Apartments, facades and glazing in two multi-storey residential buildings were damaged – a man was killed, three women were injured. A man and a child were injured in another place.

“Enemy drones also hit private residential buildings: two of them were destroyed. In addition, a two-story non-residential building, private and official transport were damaged,” Kiper added.

We will remind, on the night of September 3, the Russian army attacked Odessa with drone missiles “Banderol”, hitting a multi-storey residential building. Almost two dozen people were injured, including children. In particular, a 21-storey residential building was hit, apartments from the 10th to the 17th floors were damaged, as well as more than 10 cars. As a result of the enemy attack, 7 women aged 23-61, 7 men aged 31-52 and three children – two 8-year-old boys and an 11-year-old girl – were injured.
