As a result of the Russian strike on the multi-story building, 12 people were hospitalized, the head of the Kharkiv OVA reported.
On Sunday, September 15, Russian invaders attacked Kharkov – the enemy launched guided bombs, more than 30 casualties are already known.
Kharkiv mayor Igor Terekhov reported the attack. “Sounds of explosions are heard in Kharkiv! Be careful – the enemy has carried out repeated launches of UABs,” he wrote.
Later, the official added that a multi-story residential building had been hit. “Fire, destruction. Information about the victims will be provided later,” the mayor emphasized.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, wrote that as a result of the enemy strike on the regional center, Nemyshlyansky District, there is damage to civilian infrastructure, and three people are already known to be injured. Then the head of the OVA specified that there are already 25 victims, three of whom are children.
At 16:03, Terekhov shared that 28 people were already known to have been injured. At 16:18, the mayor reported that 33 people were injured, and at 16:55, the number of injured had risen to 35 (among them, three children).

“At this moment, 12 people have been hospitalized as a result of the strike on a multi-story building in Kharkov. Other victims are receiving assistance on the spot. One woman and a 12-year-old boy are in serious condition. The rescue operation is ongoing,” Sinegubov reported at 17:19.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has already responded to the Russian attack on Kharkov and showed photographs of the aftermath of the strike on the multi-story building.
“The rescue operation in Kharkov continues. Russian air strike with bombs. An ordinary residential building, a multi-story building, was damaged. Between the 9th and 12th floors there is a fire and rubble. At the moment, almost 30 people are known to have been injured, including children. All services are involved in rescuing people. Thank you to everyone who is helping,” the president noted on Telegram.
