Ukrainian soldiers are knocking out the enemy, said the commander of one of the units of the Armed Forces.

The war continues in Ukraine , and the Defense Forces continue to knock out the occupier from Vovchansk, Kharkiv region.

Denys Yaroslavskyi, the commander of the unit of the Armed Forces, reported this on the air of “Kyiv 24”. “Now the enemy controls about 20% of the city. He is scattered in buildings, basements. We are knocking him out, we have weapons that allow us to do this. The reinforcement of the troops now meets all the norms for holding the city. And I hope now we have a reason to think that we will be able to push them out of Vovchansk completely. After all, the north of the city is actually destroyed, there is no logistical reinforcement, and the enemy is forced to retreat,” Yaroslavskyi said.

The military also added that the main problem for the Defense Forces of Ukraine in this direction is the strikes of the Russian Federation with anti-aircraft missiles and anti-aircraft missiles. “KABs continue to destroy the city, 15-20 are arriving per day. And you have to understand the statistics – if we now get not only parity, but also superiority in the air, we will not be able to intercept their airfields at an operational distance of 100 km or more and we will not be able prevent their drones from reaching the city. This strategy is clear – when the city is destroyed, it is a scorched earth, a gray area. But we need to do everything to stop it the city will be destroyed by KABs,” added Yaroslavskyi.
