Russians began to be kicked off flights to Argentina without explanation – social networks

In the fall, a new president appeared in Argentina, who really does not like Russia.

At least ten Russians were removed from the Istanbul- Buenos Aires flight without explanation. This was reported by the Russian public website Baza .

“Removals from Turkish Airlines flights began in March. Passengers from Russia were not allowed on board, citing additional checks. According to the Russians, they went to different departments at Istanbul airport, trying to understand why they were removed from the flight, but no one had a clear answer received – all the employees said different reasons,” the public reports.

As one of the passengers told BAZ, she and her husband spent a long time preparing for the trip and had all the necessary documents in hand, but were unable to fly away. According to the woman, they met all the conditions and requirements that the airline stated, but upon boarding, when they saw the Russian passport, the couple was simply told: “You are not flying.”

Russian “pilgrimage” to Argentina

As UNIAN wrote, with the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine and the introduction of all kinds of sanctions against Russia and Russians in the West, the flow of Russian citizens traveling to Argentina has increased significantly. Russian women go there to give birth to children so that they automatically receive local citizenship, and this in turn will give parents the right to apply for an Argentine passport themselves. It is much easier to travel around the world with it than with a Russian passport.

At the beginning of last year, the Argentine authorities began to fight this invasion of Russians, and already in the fall, Argentina elected a new president who is very negatively disposed towards Russia.

  1. “Russians began to be kicked off flights to Argentina without explanation”

I have an explanation. Ruskies are generally rude, drunk, and stinky, and they dress shitty.

  2. According to the woman, they met all the conditions and requirements that the airline stated, but upon boarding, when they saw the Russian passport, the couple was simply told: “You are not flying.”

The only condition you failed, was not coming from a civilized country. Argentina are not usually very choosy who they let in the country, so it shows just how far down the ladder, russkies have fallen.

    • Yeah, looks like Russians created more nuissances there than they did contribute to the economy (for instance by freeriding on the public healthcare system). And the last thing Argentina needs is more problems.

        • Exactly. I don’t think the Argentinian Peso is stabilized by the inflow of similarly worthless Russian Rubels. 🤔

  3. Btw, imho it’s highly annoying when citizens of a terror state believe they have the right to move to a democratic country. How many of them had voted for Putin in the past, despite his invasions in Chechenya, Georgia and Ukraine? These are not model migrants, but often highly questionable characters. Just look at how the inflow of rightwing Russians turned Israel for the worse! 😠
