Tens of thousands of convicted criminals were sent from the colonies to the war against Ukraine at the Kremlin’s go-ahead – mostly for serious and especially serious crimes. Today, the consequences of this have been fully felt by the Russians, who earlier enthusiastically supported such a step. “Heroes” who survived the war and returned home created real terror in Russia – the increase in crime has already broken a 13-year record.

The collapse of the justice system
Until October of this year, there was a rule in the Russian Federation under which the case of a Russian who committed a crime and went to fight against Ukraine after the completion of the investigation, but before the verdict, was not closed – a postponement of the trial was given until the person involved returned home. If, of course, he survives.
Now everything has changed. Putin signed the law on the exemption from criminal liability of defendants who undergo military service. Thus, the Kremlin decided to stimulate the signing of contracts and at least somehow compensate for the losses that the occupying army will suffer in the war in Ukraine.
That is, the criminals received a full indulgence. And when they return from the war with a sense of complete impunity, Russia will be overwhelmed by an even more serious wave of crimes committed by the “heroes of the SVO”. Even today, the criminogenic situation in the Russian Federation terrifies Russians. The reason for this was primarily convicts recruited in Russian colonies, who were given the opportunity to go “free” from the summer of 2022.
Then they recruited to the ranks of the so-called PMK “Wagner”. Moreover, its leader Yevgeny Prigozhin preferred prisoners prone to violence and convicted under serious and especially serious articles of the Criminal Code (“murder”, “robbery”, “robbery”, “causing grievous bodily harm”, etc.), as well as recidivists (repeatedly convicted criminals).
This ultimately boomeranged Russia.
Crime breaks records
Now in the Russian Federation people are increasingly talking about the return of the “bad 90s”, when all disputes were resolved with weapons – once and for all. According to official data, the Kremlin’s decision to release tens of thousands of prisoners to participate in hostilities in Ukraine has already led to a two-fold increase in organized crime, and business disputes are increasingly resolved with the help of violence.
In the first half of 2024, the number of serious and especially serious crimes committed on the territory of Russia became the highest in the last 13 years. The number of crimes involving firearms increased 17 times.
“This situation is a direct consequence of the policy regarding the criminalization of the army, because soldiers for the war in Ukraine are being recruited en masse in prisons,” says the Ukrainian Center for Combating Disinformation.
But now those who have not yet received a sentence have joined the already convicted criminals. About 60,000 defendants are waiting for him in the detention centers of the aggressor country. According to Russian human rights activists, about 20,000 of them may be sent to fight. After the so-called active recruitment, which involves forceful methods of coercion.
Chronicles of the disaster
Russian opposition mass media, whose employees work remotely abroad, call what is happening in the Russian Federation a real catastrophe. Almost every day, in various regions of the aggressor country, the occupiers who returned home commit crimes, the victims of which are already their fellow citizens. Most of the criminals were previously convicted and pardoned by Putin.
In Moscow, the 14-year-old daughter of a participant of “SVO” was mocked by the “ex-Vagnerivian” Emomali Mirzoev. He has already committed a similar crime and was sentenced to 4 years and 7 months in prison by the Shkolkovsky City Court of the Moscow Region. In September 2022, Mirzoyev was pardoned by Putin for going to war as a member of the “Wagner” PMK, and in May 2023, the migrant received a Russian passport with a residence permit in Bashkortostan.
Emomali Mirzoyev met a 14-year-old Muscovite girl online , whose father is currently fighting against Ukraine, and at the end of December 2023, he came to her home “to watch a movie.” The former “Wagnerian man” forcibly forced the schoolgirl to get close and ran away.
The trial of the pedophile should begin at the end of October, but while in the pre-trial detention center, Mirzoev again asks to be sent to war…
Oleksiy Patrushev, who was in pretrial detention, has already signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense. In April, an invader who flew out of the coils attacked a resident of Chita, stabbed her several times, and then tried to steal her car.
In 2014, Patrushev was already imprisoned for 22 years for double murder and rape. But he served only six years, was recruited by “Wagner”, resigned and took up the old business.
The criminal has already been released from the pre-trial detention center, and the head of the military service selection point requested this.
Ihor Kostin, who also returned from the war, may soon be released from prison. He rested in a Volgograd cafe with his wife and friends. On the way out, he discovered that he had lost his wardrobe number, and when he was asked to pay for the loss of 500 rubles, he started a riot.
Kostin began to scream, then got into the car and drove into the glass door, broke into the cafe with a knife and began to demand a “fine” from the manager for not giving him a jacket. He held a knife to the manager’s throat and threatened reprisals from himself and from “friends from the PMK”.
As a result, instead of 10 years of imprisonment for such a crime, he was given only two. The court considered participation in a criminal war… a mitigating circumstance. Now Kostin can easily go to the front again.
These are just a few high-profile crimes committed by previously convicted criminals who also gained experience in combat operations. And there is no doubt that if they are lucky enough to survive again, then when they return home, they will continue the terror. For this, Russians should say “thank you” to Putin. Only they hardly dare.

These crime sprees were bound to happen. Mafia land is a crime syndicate to begin with that is hardly civilized across its vast territories. It released violent criminals from prison to be inducted into the cockroach army, where they were treated with brutality, and having to fight in a vicious war. Released back into society, they are ready to continue the violence they’ve grown so very accustomed to.
I wish the ruskie people lots of fun with their dwarf’s ghoulish gifts. Sometimes, karma is a bitch.
