Russians are forced to withdraw their headquarters further from the front, but it is impossible to command the troops from a distance of 200 km

NSU reserve major, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Oleksiy Hetman, noted that the Armed Forces are already influencing the actions of the Russians.

He said this on the air of the “Espresso” TV channel.

“The armed forces are already influencing the actions of the Russians. The occupiers already have to move their headquarters as far as possible from the front line. Because previously they were located not far from the line of contact. At a distance of 100-150 km from the front, it is still theoretically possible to command the troops, and at a distance of 200- 250 km, it is practically impossible. This is no longer management,” Hetman explained.

According to the NSU reserve major, the task of the Armed Forces is to keep the Russians under fire control.

“We need to try to negotiate with the United States to give us permission to use missiles with a range of 250-300 km. It is necessary for the Russians to move all means of control communication and everything that ensures the activities of the troops at ground zero as far as possible. From a great distance, control by phone or by radio communication is possible, but the presence of someone from the headquarters is required. There is a certain specificity to this work,” Hetman noted.

  • On the night of June 12, the Defense Forces of Ukraine launched a group missile attack on the temporarily occupied Crimea and destroyed two S-300 and S-400 air defense radars of the Russians.
  • The Russian occupation army is concentrating its main efforts on the Pokrovsky and Kurakhiv directions. Defense forces continue to contain the enemy.

  1. People keep saying that russia are winning this war. Look at the overall picture, not just the orcs grabbing a village with a prewar population of 20.

  2. “We need to try to negotiate with the United States to give us permission to use missiles with a range of 250-300 km.”

Maybe Ukraine can convince the old man that this is the right thing to do?

    • Maybe, if Ukraine can manage to find a Doppelgänger of Jake Sullivan and silently replace that jerk. 😈

      • Why get a doppelgänger? Just put someone in place with a spine and some intelligence.

        • Sure, but even old Joe Biden may notice the difference and stubbornly refuse to listen to the new advicer. That guy at least needs to act like an Irish lad. 😁

    • Poor Biden, he tries and tries not to escalate things with the Moskali but doesn’t even understand his weakness is a green light to the fascists. Now they’re even sending nuclear subs to Cuba. I’d call that an escalation. We might have to deploy the Florida national guard since the POTUS is still worried about Vladolf’s feelings.

      • One thing I’ve learned about Biden is that he’s quite resistant … to learning new things. It substantiates an old saying, you can’t teach new tricks to an old dog.
