There are about three thousand people left in the city.

Russian occupiers are already two kilometers away from the city of Mirnograd in Donetsk Oblast, which is under constant shelling, without water, electricity and gas. This was reported by the communications department of the Donetsk Oblast police.
It is noted that there are about three thousand people left in Mirnograd who are surviving under shelling.

“The industrial city, where more than 46 thousand people lived before the full-scale war, is now disfigured and devastated. Russian troops have come very close to Mirnograd and are turning it into a scorched desert. The neighborhoods in the vicinity have been smashed to pieces. The Russians have destroyed factories and destroyed a hospital with aerial bombs. There is no electricity, drinking water or gas. People go to the well for water, and they can only call their relatives from certain locations,” the statement said.
The police added that local residents are afraid to leave, and only a few are being evacuated – those who were left homeless by the latest shelling.
“People are saved with two bags in their hands, and when it was possible to leave with all their things, they refused. That is why we drive around the city every day: to identify and save those who have changed their minds, we communicate, we convince them that life is the most important thing,” said the head of the Myrnohrad police prevention sector, Volodymyr Chervinchak.
It is also reported that, according to preliminary data, there are no children in the city – they were all evacuated. However, law enforcement officers are checking whether such families have returned to danger.
