Russian unmanned boats attacked the port of Odessa, damaging the frigate Druzhba.

Russian troops attacked the Odessa sea trade port using unmanned boats (UBB).

The legendary three-masted sailing ship Druzhba was damaged in the strike, sources in the Ukrainian Defense Forces told Dumskaya.

The nature and extent of the damage is currently unknown.

The incident was commented on by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Navy, Dmitry Pletenchuk.

“An explosive device detonated in one of the ports in the Odessa region. There were no casualties or significant damage. The Druzhba remains at the site,” he told Dumskaya.

The sailing ship Druzhba is the second in a renowned series of sailing ships built at the Gdansk shipyard in the 1980s and 1990s. The ship has five sister ships, and Druzhba is the only one in this series owned by Ukraine.

Over the course of its history, the Ukrainian frigate has visited virtually every port in the Mediterranean and Baltic Seas, visited the Indian Ocean twice, and successfully crossed the Atlantic.
