Russian infantry uses natural gas pipelines to cross the Oskil River and reach Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast, the DeepState OSINT (open-source intelligence) project reported on Sept. 12.
“Unfortunately, the enemy has used pipelines to infiltrate our lines for the third time,” the analysts said.
“The first instance was in Avdiivka [Donetsk Oblast], the second near Sudzha [Russia’s Kursk Oblast]. A false claim circulated online that the same method was used to enter Pokrovsk [Donetsk Oblast], but that footage was actually shot near Kupyansk.”
According to DeepState, Russian forces have constructed a full “logistical artery” along the pipeline. Troops move through the pipe on wheeled stretchers and, where clearance allows, electric scooters.
“This journey to the outskirts of Kupyansk takes about four days,” the project said.
“Rest stations and food caches have been set up along the way.”
Russian infantry detachments reach the village of Radkivka with minimal losses, then push south into a forested area they already control. From there, they spread into Kupyansk and advance to the railway line.
DeepState also noted that Ukrainian authorities have not enforced a mandatory evacuation of civilian residents, many of whom now share homes with Russian soldiers. That situation hinders the use of artillery or air strikes and, in some cases, locals even provide food for the invaders.

What is wrong with some Ukrainian commanders??? Haven’t they learned yet that cockroaches love to infiltrate through dark, stinky, slimy pathways, cracks, and cervices? Secure those pipes or destroy them!
Or booby-trap them…
