Russian pro-war bloggers and Telegram channels monitoring events at the front wrote on Monday morning about a new attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to advance in the Kursk region – in the Glushkovsky district.
It is claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to break through the border near the village of Tyotkino, which is located near the border. According to some reports, the attack is also being carried out to the southeast, near the village of Novy Put. As a result of the attacks, the bridge over the Seim River in the village of Zvannoye was destroyed.
Telegram channels claim that Russian troops hit engineering vehicles and other equipment. Local publics, in turn, note the increased activity of Ukrainian drones over Russian territory. Acting Governor of Kursk Oblast Alexander Khinshtein reported the death of three people as a result of, allegedly, drone attacks. Two people, according to him, died near the village of Shchegolek in Belovsky District and another in the village of Zvannoye in Glushkovsky District.
There is no independent confirmation of new fighting on the border yet. Kyiv has not commented on reports of a new offensive in the Kursk region. As a result of the offensive, which began in August 6, Ukrainian troops occupied a number of border territories, including the regional center of Sudzha. More than six months later, the Russian military managed to displace the Ukrainian Armed Forces from almost the entire territory of the region.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Alexander Syrsky wrote on Facebook on Monday that the Kursk operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “achieved most of the set goals” and the buffer zone created by the Ukrainian Armed Forces “remains relevant.”

What timing! All eyes are focused on moscovy and its holiest holiday, and then Ukraine does this.
If true, this is likely a special gift for the vampire to help ruin his precious May 9th celebration.
